On Sept. 27, the Naha Police arrested a 28-year-old corporal specialist affiliated with the U.S Army’s Torii Station on charges of violating the Road Traffic Act (driving under the influence of alcohol). The charges are that he drove while intoxicated with alcohol on National Route 58 in the Matsuyama district of Naha City. Asked by the police officer whether he admitted to the charges, the suspect said no, after which he remained silent.
