Implementing the FRF construction work steadily is the fastest way to realize the reversion of Futenma Air Station.” According to Okinawa Times, Governor Tamaki dismissed the prime minister’s remarks by saying the GOJ’s narrative that the Henoko plan is the only viable option is no longer valid. “Holding serious discussions on how to move the Futenma functions out of Okinawa will make it possible to remove the danger at Futenma as early as possible.”
