NHK reported this morning that Foreign Minister Motegi will visit Latin America and Africa to promote the importance of a “free and open Indo-Pacific” and strengthen cooperation to maintain and expand the rules-based international order. According to the network, from Jan. 4 to 14, Motegi will visit eight countries: Mexico, Uruguay, Argentina, Paraguay, Brazil, Senegal, Nigeria, and Kenya.
