London Olympic committee member says Tokyo Games “unlikely” to take place

NTV reported at noon that Keith Mills, the former deputy chairman of the 2012 London Olympic organizing committee, said on BBC radio that although the decision on whether to hold the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics in the summer will be made within one or two months, he personally thinks that it seems “unlikely” that the Tokyo Games will be held due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Mills also reportedly said he believes the Tokyo Olympic organizing committee is already preparing to cancel the games.
