The Japan Coast Guard (JCG) patrol confirmed that one China Coast Guard vessel was in the contiguous zone of Japan’s territorial waters near the Senkaku Islands (Ishigaki City, Okinawa Prefecture) on Mar. 3.

Chinese government ships have now been spotted near the Senkakus for 19 consecutive days. 

According to the 11th Regional Coast Guard Headquarters (Naha), the JCG issued a warning to the Chinese vessel not to approach Japan’s territorial waters.
