Japan, India to postpone 2+2 meeting due to COVID-19 situation in India

Yomiuri and Sankei wrote that the governments of Japan and India have decided to postpone their planned 2+2 meeting of foreign and defense ministers slated for April 24 in Tokyo at the request of India, which is concerned about the COVID-19 situation in the country. The papers wrote that although Prime Minister Suga is planning to visit India at the end of this month, he will carefully monitor the infection situation in India before deciding whether to go ahead with the trip.
