All networks reported at noon on the questioning of former Nissan Motor executive Greg Kelly, who was arrested on charges of under-reporting former Nissan Chairman Ghosn’s compensation, that began today, saying that Kelly pleaded not guilty by saying he never conspired with Ghosn and never submitted false financial reports. In addition, Kelly reportedly explained that he believed Ghosn might leave the company because the salary of the highly talented CEO was very low compared with other CEOs in the automotive industry and that he looked for various ways to keep him at Nissan.
