On Aug. 4, Kono Taro, Minister in charge of Administrative Reform, announced that his new book is due out on Aug. 27. Titled “Moving Japan Forward [Nihon wo mae ni susumeru]” (PHP Shinsho), the book presents Kono’s policies for achieving that goal.
“I would like to see Japan lead the world in more fields. I chose the title with that in mind,” Kono said in a YouTube video announcing his new book. Each chapter of the book is dedicated to one of his key policies.
