On Aug. 6, the Japan Fair Trade Commission (JFTC) signed a memorandum with India’s competition authority and agreed to cooperate in developing competition law. The JFTC will provide expertise in developing competition law so that Japanese companies in India can do business in a fair competitive environment. India is the 11th country for Japan to sign a memorandum with following Singapore, China, and other countries.
