Arrived at the Prime Minister’s Office [Kantei]. Went for a walk on the grounds of the Kantei.

Handed over a letter of appointment to Special Advisor to the Cabinet Yamasaki Shigetaka.

Met with Minister of the Environment Koizumi Shinjiro, Special Advisor to the Prime Minister Izumi Hiroto, METI Industrial Science and Technology Policy and Environment Bureau Director-General Nasuno Futoshi, and MOE Global Environment Bureau Director-General Ono Hiroshi.

Held a meeting of the Expert Panel on Climate Change.

Met with Assistant Chief Cabinet Secretary Fujii Takeshi; Izumi; head of the novel coronavirus response office Yoshida Manabu; Vice-Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare Tarumi Hideki; and MHLW Chief Medical and Global Health Officer Fukushima Yasumasa.
