Fuji TV reported at noon on the finding that the Tokyo Metropolitan Government is considering asking bars and restaurants to continue closing early after the state of emergency is lifted. The network said the Tokyo government is concerned that the complete lifting of the state of emergency will lead to a resurgence of COVID-19 and is considering asking bars and restaurants to close at 8 p.m. and stop serving alcohol at 7 p.m. as it has under the quasi-state of emergency. The duration of the measure will reportedly be decided based on the infection situation in the prefecture.
