No party sets goal of having women make up 50% of their candidates in LH election

The Act on Promotion of Gender Equality in the Political Field came into force in 2018 to encourage political parties and other entities to field male and female candidates in equal proportions as much as possible. The upcoming Lower House election will be the first since the Act came into force. What kinds of measures are major political parties taking to increase the number of women lawmakers? (Abridged)
