Sankei focused on Prime Minister Kishida’s plan to launch a blue-ribbon commission tasked with putting together recommendations for devising a “new form of capitalism,” projecting that a half of its members will be women, including a 37-year-old CEO who manages a startup using artificial intelligence to increase job productivity. Pointing out that the lineup of the taskforce will be announced early next week, the daily said the premier is keen to call attention to the LDP administration’s commitment to promoting diversity and female empowerment ahead of the general election.
