Yomiuri and Mainichi wrote that Prime Minister Kishida held an in-person meeting with Colombian Vice President and Foreign Minister Marta Lucia Ramirez on Tuesday at the Kantei. The paper wrote that the two officials agreed to expedite the ongoing discussions on an economic partnership agreement between their countries and that Kishida told Ramirez Colombia is an important partner with which Japan shares fundamental values such as freedom, democracy, and the rule of law.
