PM Kishida appoints Ishihara as special advisor to Cabinet

On Dec. 3, the government decided to appoint former State Minister of Internal Affairs and Communication Terada Minoru as special advisor to the Prime Minister and former Liberal Democratic Party Secretary-General Ishihara Nobuteru as special advisor to the Cabinet. Terada is a member of the Kishida faction (Kochikai), and Ishihara lost his seat in the recent general election.
