Mainichi and Sankei wrote that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Tuesday that it has set up an office in charge of preparations for the G7 summit to be hosted by Japan in 2023. Nagoya, Fukuoka, and Hiroshima have expressed willingness to host the summit, and the office will closely assess their proposals with regard to accommodation capacity, access, and security measures.
