Tokyo, Feb. 11 (Jiji Press)–Japanese Foreign Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi and his Indian counterpart, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, agreed Friday to restart mutual visits by the two countries’ leaders.
They confirmed that preparations will be made to realize a visit to India by Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida at an appropriate time.
Hayashi and Jaishankar affirmed that Japan and India will hold a so-called two-plus-two security meeting among their foreign and defense ministers at an early date.
The two also agreed to promote bilateral cooperation related to economic security, such as taking measures to strengthen supply chains.
