Yomiuri and Sankei reported on the finding from several GOJ sources on Monday that the GOJ is considering using a government plane to transport Ukrainian evacuees in Poland to Japan. The papers said the GOJ will send Justice Minister Furukawa to Poland as the prime minister’s special envoy on a government plane as early as April 1 and take Ukrainian evacuees who wish to travel to Japan on board the government plane for the return flight. Justice Minister Furukawa is expected to hold talks with Polish Prime Minister Morawiecki and other senior Polish officials.
