It has been learned that the Ground Self-Defense Force (GSDF) listed “anti-war demonstrations” as an example of “anticipated new elements in war,” alongside terrorist attacks and cyberattacks, in documents it distributed at a study session for journalists held in February 2020. The Ministry of Defense revealed this at a meeting of the Lower House Committee on Foreign Affairs held on March 30 in response to a question posed by Japanese Communist Party member Kokuta Keiji.
