Kishida pledges additional yen loans for Ukraine

Washington, April 19 (Jiji Press)–Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida has pledged that his country will provide Ukraine with additional yen loans worth 200 million dollars, bringing the total to 300 million dollars.
   

Kishida made the pledge at an online summit with U.S. and European leaders on the situation in Ukraine, which is facing Russian aggression. The summit was chaired by U.S. President Joe Biden on Tuesday.
   

Kishida said the situation is entering a critical stage to end Russia’s cruel invasion.
