The paper wrote that the GOJ is pursuing options other than the use of SDF aircraft and will not openly criticize India for its decision so that it won’t affect the overall relations between the two countries. The paper also speculated that Tokyo is responding calmly to India’s decision because the nation is an important member of the Quad framework.
