Kishida hopes to personally tell President Biden of his plan to host G7 summit in Hiroshima

Fuji TV said that Prime Minister Kishida is considering telling President Biden in person that he plans to host next year’s G7 summit in Hiroshima, his home constituency. According to a GOJ source, the prime minister is hoping to convey from Hiroshima, which suffered atomic bombing, his message of hope for a world without nuclear weapons by inviting his G7 partners there. The network said that Japan has already sounded out the United States and received a positive response to the idea.
