Tokyo, July 15 (Jiji Press)–The Japanese government said Friday that it has finished transporting relief supplies for Ukraine refugees from the United Arab Emirates to Poland and Romania using Air Self-Defense Force aircraft.

Japan sent a total of 103 tons of relief supplies, such as blankets, plastic sheeting and solar lamps, in May to June.

The airlifting of relief supplies was carried out at the request of the Office of the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees and based on Japan’s law for cooperation with U.N. peacekeeping operations.
