Fuji TV reported that it learned from multiple GOJ sources that House Speaker Pelosi will visit Japan on Aug. 4 and exchange views with Prime Minister Kishida over breakfast at the Prime Minister’s Residence on Aug. 5. The network said attention will be focused on what Kishida will say about Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan. TBS also reported that Pelosi is expected to visit Japan on Thursday evening after visiting Seoul, adding that she is expected to also meet with Lower House Speaker Hosoda on Friday.
