The Yomiuri Giants posted an article on their website yesterday saying that a ceremony was held at Tokyo Dome last night to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the introduction of baseball to Japan by the United States. The article noted that a congratulatory video message from Ambassador Emanuel was shown on the jumbotron, after which “The Star-Spangled Banner” was sung by two female vocalists from a USAF marching band.
