The two ministers reportedly exchanged views on China’s recent military drills held near Taiwan. Hayashi reportedly said Japan strongly condemns China’s firing of ballistic missiles that fell within Japan’s EEZ, while Colonna reportedly expressed solidarity with Japan and expressed deep concern over China’s recent military actions.
