On Aug. 4, the Okayama local public prosecutors office decided not to prosecute four former Japanese employees of the Okayama city-based construction company Six Create for whom papers had been sent to the prosecutors over an incident in which a 41-year-old Vietnamese technical intern was injured after being assaulted by them. The office has not disclosed the reason for the decision. (Abridged)
