Yomiuri reported that the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries announced on Friday that Minister Nomura tested positive for COVID-19 earlier in the day. He reportedly has no symptoms and is recuperating at home. The paper said the LDP’S Kamiya Masayuki and the CDPJ’s Sugio Hideya have also contracted the virus, adding that a total of 145 Japanese Diet members have tested positive for COVID-19 thus far.
